The Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Almazaras de la Subbética is made up of more than 4000 members. It is located in the heart of the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park, an area with high rainfall.
Made with the varieties Picudo (80%) and Hojiblanca (20%);
Organoleptic characteristics: This is an intensely fruity oil of green olives with some notes of other fruits. The analysis of the fruity, very balanced and complex, presents herbaceous aromas of apple, alloza, tomato and mint.
On the palate, it is slightly sweet, almond, very bitter and spicy. Very balanced between nose and mouth.
Organoleptic score: 8 out of 9 Variety: Hojiblanca and Picudo.
One of the most awarded virgin olive oils in Spain and the world, has first food awards in Spain year 2010. Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Expoliva, International Extra Virgin Oil Competition of Los Angeles, Israel Terraolive Contest , COI, Sol D'oro and a multitude of awards.
