Our Aove de Jaén is a Premium category extra virgin olive oil, cold extracted from our best olives of the Picual variety. Harvested early, at the right moment when the olive is still green, before the fruit begins to take on color and the chlorophyll is destroyed.

Aceituno EVOOs are represented by a single word: “Effort”, since they are cultivated at more than 1,200 meters above sea level, close to the town of Valdepeñas de Jaén.

ADVERSE CONDITIONS

At this point, the conditions are adverse for the olive grove, however, this is the factor that allows these oils to have superior sensory and healthy properties.

HAND CULTIVATION

There are few producers who continue to keep this tradition alive, since the difficulties of mechanization increase the material and human efforts necessary for its production.
