    Aldea de Don Gil Extra Virgin Olive Oil, picual variety, is produced in the vicinity of the "Sierras de la Subbética" Natural Park, in Córdoba. Between Carcabuey and Priego de Córdoba.

    On the nose, we can appreciate aromas of tomato and ripe apple as well as certain nuances of fig trees and olive leaves. 

    On the palate throughout the tasting, we can appreciate a sweet entry that progresses to medium bitterness and a spicy end.

     Aldea de Don Gil extra virgin olive oil denotes aromas that we can relate to the fig tree, almond or olive leaf, among others. On the palate, it begins with a sweet entrance that reminds us of tomato, to continue with a very light bitterness that reaches its end with a slight aftertaste of throat itchiness.

La Aldea de Don Gil was born in Priego de Córdoba in the province of Andalusia. Aldea de Don Gil is a brand of extra virgin olive oil called Coupage, which is part of the Aroden oil mill, also composed of gourmet oil Claudivm.

The extra virgin olive oil La Aldea de Don Gil is produced near the Parque Natural sierras subbéticas since 2002, in which the company was formed, which makes the three varieties of the area: picual, hojiblanca and picudo. The elaboration of its oil is carried out from the olive grove to obtain the production of an extra virgin olive oil of the best quality, so that the olive juice remembers the authentic "aroma of the nature", to this it helps the climatic condition as much as of the ground, being idyllic to obtain an exceptional taste and aroma.

The oil is produced only through mechanical procedures, is an early harvest oil, which collect from November to January. It presents a soft aroma and in the mouth a sweet entrance with a soft and light bitter end. Once obtained, it is stored in air-conditioned cellars, and in order to offer an oil that maintains all its properties, the bottles of extra virgin olive oil are bottled almost at the pace demanded, thus reaffirming its excellence.

This olive-oil mill puts great effort into innovation, and improved the format of La Aldea de Don Gil in 2014, in addition to the construction and design of modern facilities, thus achieving the title of Best Spanish olive-oil mill in the AEMO Awards.

This olive oil has been a great success in foreign countries, such as Austria, Slovakia, Hungary or Canada, it currently exports to 8 countries, having its last agreement in 2018, which signed with a chain of department stores in Switzerland, called this brand Manor, which distributed to 64 department stores, 45 restaurants, 32 food markets and 4 distribution centers.
