It is a family company, it was made in 1995 by the sons of Mr. Francisco Melgarejo and Mrs. Juana Cordeno, in order to continue this activity since two centuries ago. The farm is located in Pegalar, Jaen province. It has a lot of farms “El Cuchillejo” Pegalajar, Jaén and other in Málaga.

The harvest is done in early November and the olive oil is stored in stain steels tanks which they are inerted with nitric nitrogen. It has the label D.O. “Sierra Mágina”.

Melgarejo Picual oil:

Fragrance: Medium Fruity of green olive with note of tomato, Apple, banana, green almond, artichoke and newly cut grass.

Taste: Complex, sweet and elegant. Harmonic and fresh. It is very characteristics a sweet base and the bitter and the spicy are very balanced and mitigated. It has a long tasting. Very fresh palatability and nice.
